When Windows Magazine‘s tech clients said they wanted direct access to corporate decision makers, we took a pop-up trade show on the road, demonstrating computer hardware and software on site at major corporations, business parks and retail locations throughout the U.S.
Over the course of three years, Windows’ Marketing Department developed and executed four national truck tours and one mall tour. Clients participating in this premium program included AST, AT&T, Compaq, Corel, Creative Labs, Ingram Micro, Novel, Symantec, Western Digital and WordPerfect.
Merchandising and PR preceded each tour stop, resulting in thousands of one-on-one, hands-on technology demos, bolstering visibility for the participants as well as the Windows brand.
